FAITH (1)

“Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.” (Galatians 3:24 NKJV)

Man’s innate pride makes him what to resist the grace of God and seek to justify himself before God by his own works. But the more a man tries this avenue of justification, the more he finds it futile. The more he learns of the requirements of God’s law through Christ, the more he sees the depths of his own sinfulness.

Through the merits of Christ your Savior, justification is won for mankind. To Jesus Christ mankind owes the glory and the thanks, not to self. To do otherwise is to rob Jesus of His glory and to nullify God’s grace toward you. There is but one way to justification in the sight of God. That is simply the way of faith in Christ. The kind of faith that leads to baptism, the new birth, and a new life in Christ.

Pray to Almighty God and thank Him for the gift of His Son, the precious Savior. Pray that He will keep you from all self-righteousness and give you grace to acknowledge your sins and that He will strengthen your faith in Jesus Christ.
