SOUL SECURITY
As we approach our sixties we become aware that our earning capacity is diminishing and we begin looking at our earning capability with savings and 401 Ks to see if we have enough laid by to take care of our needs in retirement. While this becomes of prime importance, few of us realize that the grave and judgment of God is approaching.
The eternal Judge does not accept 401 Ks, nor does He accept Visa or Mastercard. Financial success does not meet the requirements of eternal life. Only the blood of Christ can fulfill that need to remove the stain of sin from our souls.
Jesus said in Matthew 16:26, “For what will it profit a man if he should gain the whole world and lose his own soul. Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?”
