In His Name Devotionals
YOUR REDEEMER

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)

The words you speak tells others what you think. Jesus Christ is the eternal Word of God, in the form of a man, by Whom the thoughts of God are made known. “The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us full of grace and truth.” “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” He is called the Light of the world.

Jesus Christ is not just another man of all the great men of the past, but He is most important to us, our only hope of being saved. He paid the price of our redemption in full, with His holy and precious blood, and with His innocent sufferings and death; in order that you might be His and live under Him in His Kingdom, for all eternity.

“Jesus, my Lord, my God, my All,
Hear me; blest Savior, when I call!
Hear me, and from Thy dwelling place
Pour down the riches of Thy grace.
Jesus, my Lord, I Thee adore,
O make me love Thee more and more.”

Pray that you will either come to know and praise God for His great love toward you in that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for you—to be your Redeemer. Ask God for grace to follow in His steps and walk in the way that leads to eternal life.
