WALKING WORTHY
"Walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto His kingdom and glory" (1 Thess. 2:12):
Walk in keeping with the truth that the living God has supplanted your former dead idols and set you to wait for His Son from heaven.
"Walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing" (Col. 1:10).
Christ is exalted as "the Head" in Colossians, and we are to own Him practically as such
We need not go to the wisdom of man for help, all resources are stored up in that exalted Lord in glory.
We are complete in Him.
"Walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called" (Eph. 4:1):
It is in keeping with the truth of the church unfolded in the Epistle, in chapter 2.
Association with Christ and one another in resurrection as a new creation, access as worshippers to the Father, and builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Thus the individual walk and the collective walk is to be in keeping with the grace in which we stand.
