Frames Version Instructions

Frames Version allows you to view the current lesson and the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible at the same time. After selecting this link in a frames-enabled web browser, the browser screen will split and the lesson will load in a frame to the left with a frame to the right displaying the current scripture. Both the right and left area will have their own scroll bars. Clicking a link (except for scriptures) in either of these frames will take you out of frames version to that page in the website.

Illusration of a browser window using the Frames Version

To view a scripture in the lesson, simply click and it will appear on the right. Each time you come to a new scripture, click its link and the Bible frame will display that book, chapter, and verse. The Bible is displayed by chapter, so the entire chapter of the book will be in the frame. The starting verse will be at the top. Take note of the ending verse indicated on the lesson for that passage/section to know when to stop reading. However, you are encouraged to read the scriptures around the indicated passage in order to understand the scriptural context. To read beyond the displayed chapter, click the "Previous Chapter" or "Next Chapter" links at the bottom of the Bible frame.

If a browser is not frames-enabled, a message will appear informing the user to click the "Back" botton on his/her browser to return to the lesson. If the Frames Version is not used, scriptures selected from the lesson will appear in a new broswer window. Once this new window is opened, all the scripture links click will appear here.

When finished close this window by clicking the "X" or close button (if it appeared in a new window) or select "Back" on browser navigation bar (if it appeared in a split-window frame) to return to the lesson.
