and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child
shall be called the Son of God.
Col 2:14

which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the
cross.
Heb 10:5-10
5Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says,
SACRIFICE AND OFFERING YOU HAVE NOT DESIRED,
A BODY YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR ME;
IN WHOLE BURNT OFFERINGS AND SACRIFICES FOR SIN YOU HAVE TAKEN NO PLEASURE.
THEN I SAID, 'BEHOLD, I HAVE COME
(THE SCROLL OF THE BOOK IT IS WRITTEN OF ME)
TO DO YOUR WILL, O GOD.'"
8After saying above,
SACRIFICES AND OFFERINGS AND
WHOLE BURNT OFFERINGS AND SACRIFICES
FOR SIN YOU HAVE NOT DESIRED, NOR HAVE YOU TAKEN PLEASURE IN
THEM
(which are offered according to the Law),
9then He said,
"BEHOLD, I HAVE COME TO DO YOUR WILL."
He takes away the first in order to establish the second. 10By this will we
have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 12:7-11
7It is for discipline that you endure;
God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not
discipline?
8But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then
you are illegitimate children and not sons. 9Furthermore, we had earthly
fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to
the Father of spirits, and live? 10For they disciplined us for a short time as
seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His
holiness.
11All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to
those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of
righteousness.
Luke 2:29
29"Now Lord, You are releasing Your bond-servant to depart in peace,
According to Your word..."

39And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying,
"My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as
You will."
Luke 23:34
34But Jesus was saying, "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what
they are doing."
And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves. 46And Jesus,
crying out with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my
spirit." Having said this, He breathed His last.
Luke 3:23-31
23 When He began His ministry, Jesus Himself was about thirty years of age,
being, as was supposed, the son of Joseph, the son of Eli,
24 the son of Matthat, the son of Levi, the son of Melchi, the son of Jannai,

Shealtiel, the son of Neri,

29 the son of Joshua, the son of Eliezer, the son of Jorim, the son of Matthat,
the son of Levi,
30 the son of Simeon, the son of Judah, the son of Joseph, the son of Jonam,
the son of Eliakim,
31 the son of Melea, the son of Menna, the son of Mattatha, the son of Nathan,

Matthew 15:21-28
21Jesus went away from there, and withdrew into the district of Tyre and Sidon.
22And a Canaanite woman from that region came out and began to cry out, saying,
"Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is cruelly demon-possessed."
23But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples came and implored Him,
saying, "Send her away, because she keeps shouting at us."
24But He answered and said, "I was sent only
to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
25But she came and began to bow down before Him, saying, "Lord, help
me!"
26And He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread
and throw it to the dogs."
27But she said, "Yes, Lord; but even the dogs feed on the crumbs which
fall from their masters' table."
28Then Jesus said to her, "O woman, your faith is great; it shall be done
for you as you wish." And her daughter was healed at once.
Matthew 5:16, 45, 48
16 "Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your
good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. 45 so that you may be
sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the
good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
48 "Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Matthew 10:29
"Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the
ground apart from your Father.
Matthew 7:21
"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he
who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
Matthew 12:48-50
48 But Jesus answered the one who was telling Him and said, "Who is My
mother and who are My brothers?"
49 And stretching out His hand toward His disciples, He said, "Behold My
mother and My brothers!
50 "For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My
brother and sister and mother."
Matthew 15:13
But He answered and said, "Every plant which My heavenly Father did not plant shall
be uprooted.
Matthew 18:35
"My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does
not forgive his brother from your heart."
Matthew 20:23
He said to them, "My cup you shall drink; but to sit on My right and on
My left, this is not Mine to give, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by My
Father."
Matthew 10:32-33
32 "Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess
him before My Father who is in heaven.
33 "But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in
heaven.
Matthew 1:18-25
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: when His mother Mary had
been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child by the
Holy Spirit. 19 And Joseph her husband, being a righteous man and not wanting to disgrace
her, planned to send her away secretly. 20 But when he had considered this, behold, an
angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not
be afraid to take Mary as your wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the
Holy Spirit. 21 "She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will
save His people from their sins." 22 Now all this took place to fulfill what was
spoken by the Lord through the prophet:
23 "BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL," which translated means, "GOD WITH US."
24 And Joseph awoke from his sleep and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took Mary as his wife, 25 but kept her a virgin until she gave birth to a Son; and he called His name Jesus.
Luke 1:26-38
26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city in
Galilee called Nazareth, 27 to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the
descendants of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. 28 And coming in, he said to her,
"Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you." 29 But she was very perplexed at
this statement, and kept pondering what kind of salutation this was. 30 The angel said to
her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. 31 "And behold,
you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. 32 "He
will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him
the throne of His father David; 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and
His kingdom will have no end." 34 Mary said to the angel, "How can this be,
since I am a virgin?" 35 The angel answered and said to her, " The Holy Spirit
will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that
reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God. 36 "And behold, even your
relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren
is now in her sixth month. 37 "For nothing will be impossible with God." 38 And
Mary said, "Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your
word." And the angel departed from her.
Luke 2:41-52
41 Now His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover.
42 And when He became twelve, they went up there according to the custom of the Feast; 43
and as they were returning, after spending the full number of days, the boy Jesus stayed
behind in Jerusalem. But His parents were unaware of it, 44 but supposed Him to be in the
caravan, and went a day's journey; and they began looking for Him among their relatives
and acquaintances. 45 When they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem looking for
Him. 46 Then, after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the
teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47 And all who heard Him were
amazed at His understanding and His answers. 48 When they saw Him, they were astonished;
and His mother said to Him, "Son, why have You treated us this way? Behold, Your
father and I have been anxiously looking for You." 49 And He said to them, "Why
is it that you were looking for Me? Did you not know that I had to be in My Father's
house?" 50 But they did not understand the statement which He had made to them. 51
And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and He continued in subjection to them;
and His mother treasured all these things in her heart. 52 And Jesus kept increasing in
wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
Jeremiah 31:9
"With weeping they will come, And by supplication I will lead them; I
will make them walk by streams of waters, On a straight path in which they will not
stumble; For I am a father to Israel, And Ephraim is My firstborn."

" Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be
Your name.

The highest of the kings of the earth.
Mattew 1:20-21
20 But when he had considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to
him in a dream, saying, " Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your
wife; for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 "She will
bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their
sins."
John 6:15
So Jesus, perceiving that they were intending to come and take Him by force
to make Him king, withdrew again to the mountain by Himself alone.
Luke 7:16
Fear gripped them all, and they began glorifying God, saying, "A great
prophet has arisen among us!" and, "God has visited His people!"
John 8:42-59
42 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for
I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative,
but He sent Me.
43 "Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My
word. 44 " You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your
father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because
there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he
is a liar and the father of lies. 45 "But because I speak the truth, you do not
believe Me. 46 "Which one of you convicts Me of sin? If I speak truth, why do you not
believe Me? 47 " He who is of God hears the words of God; for this reason you do not
hear them, because you are not of God." 48 The Jews answered and said to Him,
"Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?" 49 Jesus
answered, "I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. 50
"But I do not seek My glory; there is One who seeks and judges. 51 "Truly,
truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he will never see death." 52 The Jews
said to Him, "Now we know that You have a demon. Abraham died, and the prophets also;
and You say, 'If anyone keeps My word, he will never taste of death.' 53 "Surely You
are not greater than our father Abraham, who died? The prophets died too; whom do You make
Yourself out to be?" 54 Jesus answered, "If I glorify Myself, My glory is
nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say, 'He is our God'; 55 and you
have not come to know Him, but I know Him; and if I say that I do not know Him, I will be
a liar like you, but I do know Him and keep His word. 56 "Your father Abraham
rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad." 57 So the Jews said to Him,
"You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?" 58 Jesus said to
them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am."
59 Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and went out of
the temple.
John 3:2
this man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, " Rabbi, we know that
You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God
is with him."
Matthew 16:16, 17, 21
16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living
God."
17 And Jesus said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Barjona, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.
21 From that time Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day. 22 Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "God forbid it, Lord! This shall never happen to You." 23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me; for you are not setting your mind on God's interests, but man's."
Acts 2:39
"For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as
the Lord our God will call to Himself."
Acts 10:28-34
28 And he said to them, "You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a
man who is a Jew to associate with a foreigner or to visit him; and yet God has shown me
that I should not call any man unholy or unclean. 29 "That is why I came without even
raising any objection when I was sent for. So I ask for what reason you have sent for
me." 30 Cornelius said, "Four days ago to this hour, I was praying in my house
during the ninth hour; and behold, a man stood before me in shining garments, 31 and he
said, 'Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before
God. 32 'Therefore send to Joppa and invite Simon, who is also called Peter, to come to
you; he is staying at the house of Simon the tanner by the sea.' 33 "So I sent for
you immediately, and you have been kind enough to come. Now then, we are all here present
before God to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord."
34 Opening his mouth, Peter said: "I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality,
Matthew 17:4, 5
4 Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish,
I will make three tabernacles here, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for
Elijah." 5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold,
a voice out of the cloud said, "This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased;
listen to Him!"

three tabernacles, one for You, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah." 6 For he did
not know what to answer; for they became terrified.
Luke 9:33
And as these were leaving Him, Peter said to Jesus, "Master, it is good
for us to be here; let us make three tabernacles: one for You, and one for Moses, and one
for Elijah"-- not realizing what he was saying.
Matthew 26:33-35, 69-75
33 But Peter said to Him, "Even though all may fall away because of You,
I will never fall away." 34 Jesus said to him, "Truly I say to you that this
very night, before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times." 35 Peter said to
Him, "Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You." All the disciples
said the same thing too.
69 Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard, and a servant-girl came to him and said, "You too were with Jesus the Galilean." 70 But he denied it before them all, saying, "I do not know what you are talking about." 71 When he had gone out to the gateway, another servant-girl saw him and said to those who were there, "This man was with Jesus of Nazareth." 72 And again he denied it with an oath, "I do not know the man." 73 A little later the bystanders came up and said to Peter, "Surely you too are one of them; for even the way you talk gives you away." 74 Then he began to curse and swear, "I do not know the man!" And immediately a rooster crowed. 75 And Peter remembered the word which Jesus had said, "Before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times." And he went out and wept bitterly.
John 8:58
Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was
born, I am."
John 20:28
Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"
Gal 3:6-9
6Even so Abraham BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.
7 Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham.
8 The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "ALL THE NATIONS WILL BE BLESSED IN YOU."
9 So then those who are of faith are blessed with Abraham, the believer.
Galatians 3:23-25
23 But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, being shut up to the
faith which was later to be revealed. 24 Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us
to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. 25 But now that faith has come, we are no
longer under a tutor.
Mark 15:33, 39
33 When the sixth hour came, darkness fell over the whole land until the
ninth hour.
39 When the centurion, who was standing right in front of Him, saw the way He breathed His last, he said, "Truly this man was the Son of God!"
Ephesians 1:4-6
4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we
would be holy and blameless before Him. In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as
sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, 6 to
the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.
John 8:24
"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you
believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."
Luke 13:1-5
1 Now on the same occasion there were some present who reported to Him about
the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus said to
them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans were greater sinners than all other
Galileans because they suffered this fate? 3 "I tell you, no, but unless you repent,
you will all likewise perish. 4 "Or do you suppose that those eighteen on whom the
tower in Siloam fell and killed them were worse culprits than all the men who live in
Jerusalem? 5 "I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise
perish."
Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, " All authority has been
given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20
teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to
the end of the age."
Acts 2:38-39
38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of
Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy
Spirit. 39 "For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off,
as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself."
John 3:3-5
3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless
one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." 4 Nicodemus said to Him,
"How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his
mother's womb and be born, can he?" 5 Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to
you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Gal 3:26-29
26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For all of
you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither
Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for
you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's
descendants, heirs according to promise.
Romans 6:1-12
1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace
may increase? 2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? 3 Or do
you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized
into His death? 4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so
that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might
walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His
death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this,
that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away
with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; 7 for he who has died is freed from
sin. 8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9
knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no
longer is master over Him. 10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but
the life that He lives, He lives to God. 11 Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin,
but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so
that you obey its lusts,
Ephesians 3:10-12
10 so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church
to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. 11 This was in accordance with
the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have
boldness and confident access through faith in Him.
